Ilvy Jacobs - paper bags
Ilvy Jacob's paper bags are a new take on the 'sustainable' bag. Not just your typical run of the mill brown paper bag, but these have been designed by product designer Ilvy with her aim to create an aesthetically pleasing longer lasting paper bag. Check out the rest of her collection here

Cha Cha Cha
Do you know of anyone looking for a latin dance dress? I'm selling this little number as I am no longer dancing unfortunately. Last worn in 2009 (just the once) I designed this dress myself and had it made here in Auckland. It's made of red chiffon with a Lycra leotard on the inside. It is covered in sequins and Swarovski crystals. Check out my shop for further details.

Black Swan Wardrobe
I recently watched the award winning Black Swan and thoroughly enjoyed it, all the right elements for me - a psychological thriller and ballet in one. Along with the great story line I took note of the fantastic dancewear. As a dancer in my early years I can appreciate the need for style, comfort and functionality of dancewear. I found an article on Black Swan wardrobe designer Amy Westcott in Dancetrack Magazine. Interesting to note that Rodarte's vulture-inspired Autumn 2010 collection also provided Amy the inspiration for the white and black swan tutus and hair pieces.
